Buzzards are something I frequently see from my home. A pheasant was killed by one of them in front of my house a few years ago while we were away for the whole day. Having discussed this with a neighbour, it never occurred to me that the buzzard could kill pheasants.
The buzzards usually keep their distance from people, especially around their house, based on my observations.

When I decided to walk down to Manor Park after taking a stroll around Moneymore on that icy evening, the image above was a welcome surprise as I crossed the road bridge. In particular, the newly installed pathway lamps and the white dusting of snow seemed to enhance the beauty of Manor Park.
