Battery Harbour is the most “central” harbour on Lough Neagh, with roughly equal distances to all four corners of the lake; for this reason, one of the two Lough Neagh Rescue stations is located here. Kinnego is the other rescue station, southeast of Lough Neagh. The best view of Lough Neagh is probably from Battery Harbour.
